The ‘Outstanding Young Person’ Awards was presented by Junior Chamber International Hull and East Yorkshire to mark their 60th anniversary, as a way of recognising the achievements and talents of young people across a range of business disciplines.
Chris, (29) was named outstanding young person in the category of ‘scientific and/or technological development’ sponsored by BP. This was in recognition of his leadership of the pioneering business, which fills a gap in the market primarily amongst new and small businesses.
Chris, who is also the Managing Director of technically-led marketing agency T Media, accepted the award on behalf of his team in front of 250 members of the business community at the prestigious black tie event.
Chris said: “I think everyone who ever wins an award says this, but I really didn’t think we’d win as we were up against some pretty impressive candidates.
