TCUSTOMERS - Specification

The TCustomers module is accessed via a secure admin area. It allows you to store contact details for all of your customers. You can use this information in a variety of ways.

Add, edit and remove customers in the database
Select groups of customers using various search criteria.
Send emails to an individual or a group of customers. These emails can be tailored using each customers individual details.
Each customer has a to-do list associated with them, and you can add to-do items to individuals and to groups of customers.
Generate a C.S.V. file using the information from a group of customers. A C.S.V. file allows you to distribute the information to other people as well as use the information in other applications such as Microsoft Access.
Add tags to groups of customers. A tag is a way of categorising a customer so that you can easily retrieve the information from your database. Each customer can have any number of tags.

Other parts of your website can also use the customers module. For example, when someone fills out a contact form, their details will be entered into the customer database, and tags will be added saying that they came from the website and that they have not yet been contacted.
