Want a web site but don’t know were to start? Read through the following for help and advice.

If you are a new business just starting out, please consider us to assist with your corporate identity design also.

Gather Content:

Gather all promotional material, brochures, leaflets etc and make notes on all other content areas needed. This will help us to gain a better understanding of the nature of the business and is a good starting point. Digital formatted content is preferred.

We prefer to design around content rather than creating a template based site as this will allow us to develop a more professional, well laid out, easy to read web site.

Gather Images:

Gather all images you require on the web site, especially the company logo. Again digital formatted images are preferred. We have a library of stock images that can be used if you have no images. Graphics can also make your site more interesting. We can produce any graphics you desire.

Choose a Domain Name:

The domain name is the address users will type into a search engine to get to your web site. Choose a domain that is as relevant to your company and as easy to remember as possible. Help and advice is available for this process.

We will then register the domain name(s) for you which you will then be charged a small fee for on a yearly basis.

Choose the Host:

Your web site will need some “space” to “sit” on the internet. We can host your site at a competitive rate; this rate will depend on the type of web site you require.

You may already have found your host, this is not a problem, we will just need to be provided with the “ftp” details. Your host can provide you with these.
